A typical home Level 2 EV charger installation runs $800-$2,000 for the electrical work (not including the charger unit itself). If a panel upgrade is needed, that adds $2,500-$4,500. We provide free quotes with an exact price.
Are there rebates for EV charger installation?
Yes — for commercial and multi-unit residential installations, the Alberta EVCP program offers up to 46% funding. This program runs until March 2026. Individual home installations don't currently qualify for provincial rebates, but check with your employer about workplace programs.
